GULMI, June 27: Three family members from Musikot Municipality-4, Digamchaur, have become ill after eating poisonous mushrooms. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, those who fell ill are Phulmaya Kumal, 68 years old; Thamman Bahadur Kumal, 76 years old; and Geeta Kumal, 36 years old.
They reportedly developed symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, and vomiting on Thursday night after eating mushrooms picked from a nearby forest earlier that day.

All three were immediately taken to Lumbini Medical College in Prabhas, Palpa, for treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team led by Constable Krishnamohan Kewat from the Indragaunda Police Post facilitated their urgent transfer to the hospital.
According to police, their condition is now stable, and they are said to be out of danger.
