Three children missing in Danav River in Rupandehi

The missing individuals have been identified as Umesh Yadav,13; Raj Yadav, 14; Munu Harijan, 12,- all residents of the same village. They are said to have gone missing around 12:30 PM today while swimming in the river.

KATHMANDU, April 21: Three children have gone missing while swimming in the Danav River in Lumbini Cultural Municipality–2, Rupandehi. A team of the Armed Police Force (APF) personnel has been deployed to search for the missing children in the river on Monday afternoon.



The missing individuals have been identified as Umesh Yadav,13; Raj Yadav, 14; Munu Harijan, 12,- all residents of the same village. They are said to have gone missing around 12:30 PM today while swimming in the river.

As soon as the incident was reported, the APF Nepal’s team from the nearby Border Outpost led by an Inspector was deployed to the scene for a search and rescue operation. The team included trained personnel in disaster response.
