KATHMANDU, April 6: The National Committee of the Nepal Teachers' Association (NTA) organized a large rally and protest march from Maitighar Mandala to New Baneshwor on Sunday, demanding the issuance of a new Education Act that addresses all past agreements made with it.
Teachers from across the country gathered early in the morning, carrying banners and placards with messages calling for fair treatment and addressing their concerns in the new law.
