KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Protesting what they called an arbitrary cabinet formation, the Gen Z group led by Sudan Gurung has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
On Sunday night, members of the group gathered outside the prime minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, chanting slogans against the appointment of Om Prakash Aryal as Home Minister.

Expressing anger, they questioned why “someone who came as a facilitator” was chosen for the key post. The group also warned that the ongoing movement had been “hijacked” and cautioned others not to derail it.
“We were the ones who made her prime minister,” Sudan said, warning Karki, “If this continues, we also can remove you.”
