KATHMANDU, April 7 : Indian budget airliner SpiceJet is set to resume its Nepal operations after a five-year hiatus, with daily flights between New Delhi and Kathmandu starting May 10, airport officials confirmed.
According to the airline officials, Himalayan Global Travel Services Pvt Ltd has been appointed as the airline’s General Sales Agent (GSA) for Nepal.

SpiceJet will operate a daily flight from New Delhi using a 189-seater Boeing 737 aircraft, configured entirely in economy class. “There are plans to increase the frequency to two daily flights in the near future,” the officials said, quoting the airline’s Nepal GSA.
Introductory fares for the Kathmandu–Delhi route are expected to start at around Rs 17,000.
