KATHMANDU, July 8: Filming of Nepali movie ‘Kina Lagchha Maya’ has been started under the direction of Kuber Tamang.
Visualized under the banner of S&S Production, singer and rockstar Binod Dhakal is making his debut in the movie. Along with Dhakal, celebrated actors like Dhiren Shakya, Pabitra Saki (Miss Pabi), Rajendra Khadki, Sunil Katuwal, Rabindra Khadka, Sanjit Bhandari, Richa Thapa, Janabi Basnet and Himbala Gautam, among others, will be on the screen.

‘Kina Lagchha Maya’ explores the deep emotional bond between brothers, their shared responsibilities, and personal sacrifices. At the same time, the film boldly reflects on social realities and challenges, presenting them with emotional depth and authenticity, according to the producer.
Singer Dhakal gained popularity through the television serial named ‘Kilo Tango Mike.’ He also appeared in lead roles in notable music videos like “Kamana” by pop icon Nabin K. Bhattarai and “Kayar Lachhiharu” by Paper Boat Nepal. Moreover, Dhakal is also known for his contributions as a singer and music director, both in Nepali cinema and through his own original tracks.
The film is being shot in scenic locations across Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Eastern Nawalparasi, and Mustang, capturing Nepal’s diverse natural beauty.
