KATHMANDU, Sept 11: In light of the current security situation in the country, including ongoing curfew and prohibitory orders in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Nepal’s tourism fraternity, in coordination with the Nepal Army, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), and the Department of Immigration, have launched a dedicated shuttle bus service for tourists.

The service, operational from September 11, 2025, ensures safe and reliable transportation for visitors traveling to and from TIA and central Kathmandu. “With the current uncertainty and restrictions on movement, we remain committed to the safety and convenience of our valued guests and visitors,” said NTB officials. The initiative aims to support tourism operations while adhering to the security protocols enforced under the curfew and prohibitory orders.
