Model, show host, and playwright Shivani Singh Tharu launched her novel entitled ‘Kathmanduma Ek Din’ amid a special event organized in the premises of Russian Culture Center, Kamalpokhari on Tuesday.

The program was hosted by famous novelist Amar Neupane. “We were waiting for this novel for almost 10 years and finally the movement has arrived to break the decade-long suspense,” Neupane said.
The novel revolves around the themes of civil war, Madhesh movement, and other problems created by the war. Tharu said: “I have chosen political issues for my novel because I have seen lots of political changes in my life and my family background is also related to politics.”
The book is published by FinePrint Publication and is priced at Rs 458.
