KATHMANDU, April 15: Chief Whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Gyanendra Shahi has urged the government to swiftly address the demands of teachers protesting on the streets.
Through social media, Shahi made the request, stating that the Education Bill, which addresses the teachers' demands, should be passed. He also urged the government to call a special session of parliament to approve the Education Bill.

He wrote, “The Education Bill, which addresses the demands of the teachers protesting on the streets, is ready, but parliament is currently closed. Therefore, we request the government to summon a special session of parliament and pass the Education Bill.”
Chief Whip Shahi, targeting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, stated, “Let's not make witty remarks while in power. Let's fulfill the demands of the teachers.”
