KATHMANDU, July 11: Government authorities have recovered eight electric vehicles (EVs) and eight containers that went missing during the flash flood in Rasuwa’s Lende River on July 8. The Nepali Army has been continuing its search and rescue operations for the missing persons.
The army informed that works related to road repair and the construction of alternative routes are progressing swiftly. The army, along with other security agencies and local residents, is actively engaged in relief and repair efforts in affected areas such as Lingling, Rungapul, Sallatar, Gumchet, and Timure in Rasuwa, as well as parts of Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan.

In Nuwakot, efforts are underway to control river erosion by installing gabion wires along the banks of the Trishuli River. Coordinated efforts are being made to strengthen relief and rehabilitation operations in the flood-hit regions, authorities involved in the rescue operations said.
