KATHMANDU, Sep 15: Three ministers of the Sushila Karki-led interim government have taken the oath of office and secrecy amid a ceremony held at the President’s residence at Sheetal Niwas.
President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath to them.
Govt seeks yet another clarification from Kulman Ghising

Former Finance Secretary Rameswore Khanal has been sworn in as the Finance Minister; former Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising is sworn in for three ministries - Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Ministry of Urban Development; and advocate Om Prakash Aryal is sworn in for two ministries: Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
They will assume their responsibilities starting today.
Aryal is known for legal battles on social justice and recently served as legal adviser to Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah. Ghising is credited with ending nationwide power cuts in May 2018 while heading NEA and was later removed by former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Khanal is famous for reforms in government accounting and reporting, public procurement and tax policy.
