KATHMANDU, May 2: After another Nepali student died at KIIT University in Odisha, India, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Odisha demanded strict action against the university.
In a statement issued late Thursday night, ABVP criticized the state government for remaining silent despite the recurrence of such serious incidents and called for immediate and strict action.

ABVP Odisha expressed deep sorrow over the incident and questioned the state government's silence, calling the incident "disgusting and shameful."
Yesterday (Thursday), Prisa Sah, a first-year B.Tech student from Birgunj, was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the KIIT International Hostel.
Earlier, on February 16, another 20-year-old Nepali student, Prakriti Lamsal, who was also studying at the same university, was found dead in the same hostel.
