KATHMANDU, Sept 17: President Ram Chandra Paudel will host a Constitution Day celebration at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, on Friday.
According to Secretary Dr Deepak Kafle of the President’s Office, invitations have already been distributed. The invitation states: “On the occasion of Constitution Day (National Day) 2082, you are cordially invited to attend the program in the gracious presence of President Ram Chandra Paudel.”

The program is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Friday.
The announcement comes at a time when questions have been raised about the relevance of the Constitution and governance following recent Gen-Z protests. While the President has moved ahead with preparations, the government has yet to clarify its official position on marking Constitution Day.
