KATHMANDU, April 17: Four construction companies and suppliers have been blacklisted.
The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has issued a notice stating that four construction companies and suppliers have been blacklisted for a specified period based on recommendation of various government bodies.
PPMO blacklists 33 construction companies
The PPMO has blacklisted Build Brothers Construction Pvt Ltd and its key individuals Chhiring Lama Dong and Pambar Lama for one year.
S.M. Construction, located in Hatiya-1 of Makwanpur, and its key individual Sahadev Gautam have been blacklisted for one year and six months. Rana Furniture Saw Mill Industry, located in Madhya Nepal Municipality-4 of Lamjung, and its key individual, Sukku Rana Magar, have been blacklisted for one year and six months.
Similarly, the PPMO has stated that Gaurigoma Nirman Sewa, located in Sharada Municipality-8 of Salyan, has been blacklisted for one year.
The PPMO further mentioned that during the blacklist period, these construction companies and suppliers will not be allowed to participate in any procurement processes.
