Power disruption in Kathmandu, Lalitpur areas

The Nepal Electricity Authority will stop supplying electricity to several areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, April 12: The Nepal Electricity Authority will stop supplying electricity to several areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur on Saturday. 



In Kathmandu, the authority will cut electricity from 11 AM to 4 PM in Naikap Football Ground and Kitni Bhanjyang under the Thankot feeder of the Balambu Distribution Center to relocate poles and upgrade conductors.

Under the Durbar Marg feeder of the Ratnapark Distribution Center, the authority will interrupt power from 7 AM to 10 AM in areas including Jamal Pul, Biswajyoti Hall, Yellow Pagoda, Annapurna Hotel, and the Election Commission to lay underground cables.


In Lalitpur, under the Imadol-2 feeder of the Lagankhel Distribution Center, the authority will cut power from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM in Gwarko, Imadol, Krishna Mandir, Tikathali, Lubhu, and nearby areas.


Similarly, the authority will stop supplying electricity from 1 PM to 4 PM in Jawalakhel, Kumaripati, and Natole under the Jawalakhel feeder. Under the Ring Road feeder, it will cut power from 11 AM to 12 PM in the District Administration Office area, AVM Chowk, Kusunti, Nakhkhipot, and surrounding areas.


If the work finishes early, the authority may restore electricity before the scheduled time.
