Within the Gen Z movement as well, hopes are high that the tripartite talks will pave the way for a settlement. However, the growing involvement of controversial figures such as medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai, recently associated with royalist sentiments, and Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang has drawn objections from sections of the Gen Z group.

Civil society has expressed cautious optimism, emphasizing that any resolution should safeguard democratic values while ensuring a fair and inclusive decision.
