KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Police units displaced during the ‘Gen Z’ protests have begun returning to their original posts. According to the Lalitpur District Security Committee, the offices were reinstated at their previous locations starting Wednesday.
The re-established units include: Circle Satdobato, Circle Chapagaun, Sub-unit Imadol, Sub-unit Lubhu, Sub-unit Mangalbazar, Sub-unit Sanepa, Lagankhel, Sub-unit Pulchowk, Sub-unit Lakuribhanjyang, Sub-unit Hanumansthan, and Sub-unit Patandhoka.

Meanwhile, Nepal Police restored the Damodar Chowk police beat in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City–15 of Dang on Thursday morning after it was dismantled during the protests.
The District Security Committee has urged residents to remain alert given the current sensitive situation. Locals have been requested to immediately inform nearby security agencies if they notice new or unfamiliar individuals in their neighborhoods.
