Peace and goodwill rally organized in Bhairahawa

The rally that started from the Nepal-India border at Belahiya concluded at Buddha Chowk. Various speakers at the event emphasized the importance of peace and the necessity to maintain harmony.

BHAIRAHAWA, Sept 12: A peace and goodwill rally has been organized in Bhairahawa with the aim of promoting peace and harmony in the country. Through this rally organized by various organisations in coordination with the Lumbini Press Club, a call has been made to restore peace in the aftermath of the Gen Z protests in the country. 



The rally that started from the Nepal-India border at Belahiya concluded at Buddha Chowk. Various speakers at the event emphasized the importance of peace and the necessity to maintain harmony.

Sagar Gyawali from the Gen Z Movement said that since the country has moved into a new generation and system, we need to focus on building a new Nepal instead of protests and destruction. He emphasized that maintaining peace is essential for keeping the businesses running and the market open.


The President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Lumbini Province chapter, Krishna Prasad Sharma, maintained that after the youth movement, we now need to move forward with caution. He said that a rally was organized with the aim of fulfilling the legitimate demands of the youth and establishing peace and harmony in the country. He also pointed out that the aim was to convey a message of harmony throughout the country and that it was led by the 'Gen Z' generation.


The chairperson of Lumbini Press Club, Kamala Rayamajhi, emphasized that peace is essential for the country's development and prosperity, and that everyone should work together to create an atmosphere of goodwill.


The rally was participated by organisations such as the Lumbini Press Club, Lumbini Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Siddhartha Chamber of Commerce, Rupandehi Chamber of Commerce, Siddhartha Network, Siddhartha Public Transport Company, Nepal Customs Agents Association, Siddhartha Hotel Association, Bhairahawa Morning Walk Group, Hotel and Restaurant Business Association, Rupandehi, and West Region Transport Company, among others.
