PAC decides to send report on Patanjali land case to CIAA for investigation

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Parliament has decided to send the investigation report on the Patanjali land case to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for further investigation.

KATHMANDU, May 22: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Parliament has decided to send the investigation report on the Patanjali land case to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for further investigation.



In a meeting held on Thursday, the PAC made the decision to forward the report to the CIAA after examining complaints related to the Patanjali land issue. PAC Chairman Rishikesh Pokharel informed the media that complaints had been received regarding the Patanjali land case, and after inquiries with various ministries and departments, a report was compiled. The committee decided to recommend further investigation and necessary actions to the CIAA.

Chairman Pokharel also mentioned that the report on the Pokhara Regional International Airport did not indicate any mistrust toward anyone and that the investigation had been forwarded to the CIAA for further inquiry.
