BIRATNAGAR, Aug 17: One more person succumbed to novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Morang district on Monday.

The 47-year-old male patient from Katahri Rural Municipality in the district was admitted to the hospital on Saturday evening. The man breathed his last at 5:50 pm Monday afternoon while undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar.
His swab samples were collected and sent for COVID-19 tests after he developed the symptoms of the disease. He was diagnosed with the viral infection on Sunday morning.
