One killed, two injured in motorcycle accident in Sarlahi

According to police, a motorcycle heading from Kabilasi to Malangawa (registration number Province 2–03–014 P 1214) struck a pedestrian near Pidar Chowk on the Nawalpur–Malangawa road section.

SARLAHI, July 16: One person died and two others were injured in a motorcycle accident in Kabilasi Municipality, Sarlahi.



According to police, a motorcycle heading from Kabilasi to Malangawa (registration number Province 2–03–014 P 1214) struck a pedestrian near Pidar Chowk on the Nawalpur–Malangawa road section.

The pedestrian, estimated to be around 50 years old and yet to be identified, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Provincial Hospital Malangawa, where doctors pronounced him dead. His body has been kept at the hospital for identification.


The motorcycle rider, Rupesh Ray, 22, of Kabilasi-8, and his wife, Pinki Devi Ray, 20, who was riding pillion, were injured and are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
