KHALANGA, Aug 21: A critically injured passenger of a bus that met with an accident in Darchula on Thursday morning has died while undergoing treatment at a hospital. The deceased was among four severely injured passengers of the ill-fated bus which met with the accident at Hopari in Naugad rural municipality-4.
The deceased has been identified as Parbati Tamata, 25, of Naugad rural municipality-4.

Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Darchula, Chhatra Bahadur Rawat, confirmed the death of the woman while undergoing treatment. It has been learnt that the woman was expecting a child.
A total of 11 were injured in the accident and those who sustained minor injuries are being treated at the local Gokuleshwor Hospital while the remaining three with critical injuries have been referred to Dhangadhi.
Police took control of driver Lokendra Singh Thagunna for further investigation into the accident.
