KATHMANDU, May 8: A woman died and three others were injured in a collision involving a bus, a van and a motorcycle at Tinkune, Kathmandu on Thursday morning.
According to Spokesperson at Kathmandu Police Range SP Apil Raj Bohora, the deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Nagina Tamang of Nuwakot, currently residing in Dhobighat, Lalitpur. She died while undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center at 7 AM.
Curfew in Kathmandu's Tinkune area lifted

The accident occurred at around 6:35 am on the road at Kathmandu-32, Tinkune. A bus (Ba 3 Kha 7062) heading from Baneshwar to Tinkune first hit a van (Ba Pra 01-026 Ch 2927), which then collided with a motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-3847), said SP Bohora.
Tamang, who was seated on the back of the motorcycle, sustained critical injuries. The injured include the motorcycle rider, 27-year-old Padam Thapamagar of Ramechhap currently living in Nayabazar, van driver Ratna Bahadur Sarki, 35, of Shantinagar, and 24-year-old Menuka Budhathoki of Dolakha, who was a passenger on the bus.
The van driver is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center, while the other two are being treated at Kantipur Hospital.
