KATHMANDU, June 30: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised the prices of petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel, with the revised rates taking effect from midnight on Monday.
The adjustment follows a rise in the purchase price from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), prompting NOC to revise retail prices accordingly.

As per the decision of the NOC Board of Directors, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5 per litre, while diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs 4 per litre.
The retail price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used for cooking, however, remains unchanged.
According to NOC, the new price list received from IOC on Sunday showed an increase of Rs 7.64 per litre for petrol, Rs 9.13 for diesel, and Rs 6.88 for aviation fuel.
Despite the steep rise in import costs, NOC said it has implemented only a partial price adjustment in consideration of consumer interest.
