NICCI bags Best Bi-national Chamber of Commerce award in Nepal

KATHMANDU, April 11: The Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) has been honored with the prestigious Best Bi-national Chamber of Commerce in Nepal award.



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented the award to NICCI during a special ceremony held as part of the 59th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) and Commerce Day on Thursday.

Issuing a statement, NICCI confirmed it received this recognition in the Best Bi-national Chamber of Commerce & Industry category. This marks the fifth time NICCI has earned this esteemed title, reaffirming its continued dedication to promoting bilateral economic cooperation between Nepal and India, the statement added.


Founded in 1993, NICCI has remained at the forefront of fostering strong Nepal-India economic relations for over three decades. The Chamber has consistently worked to enhance cross-border trade, investment, and industrial collaboration between the two neighboring nations, the statement further read.


NICCI also extended its gratitude to all its member organizations, individual members, well-wishers, and partners for their unwavering support that made this “milestone possible”.
