Nepalis traveling abroad can now exchange up to USD 3,000

According to the monetary policy for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26, made public by Nepal Rastra Bank on Friday, Nepali citizens traveling abroad, except India, were previously eligible for a maximum of USD 2,500 in exchange facility per trip.

KATHMANDU, July 11: The dollar exchange facility for Nepali citizens traveling to countries other than India has been increased. With this, the limit has been raised to USD 3,000 from USD 2500.
