Nepali cricket team undergoes fitness test ahead of Top End T20 Series in Australia (Photos)

The test was conducted this morning at the Sports Science and Research Centre and High Performance Centre located in Satdobato. Players were assessed for their physical readiness and overall fitness as part of the preparation for the series.

KATHMANDU, Aug 7: The Nepali national cricket team selected for the upcoming Top End T20 Series in Darwin, Australia underwent a fitness and physical test on Thursday ahead of their international tour. The tournament is scheduled to take place from August 14 to 24.



The test was conducted this morning at the Sports Science and Research Centre and High Performance Centre located in Satdobato. Players were assessed for their physical readiness and overall fitness as part of the preparation for the series.

The 16-member squad includes Rohit Paudel as captain and Dipendra Singh Airee as vice-captain. Other players in the team are Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha, Arif Sheikh, Bhim Sharki, Rupesh Kumar Singh, Sompal Kami, Nandan Kumar Yadav, Karan KC, Rijhan Dhakal, Lokesh Bam and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi.


The Top End T20 Series will serve as a key opportunity for Nepal to gain more international exposure and build on recent performances.
