KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepal lost to the host Bangladesh in the second match of the ongoing SAFF U-20 Women's Championship.
The match was played at Basundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where the Bangladeshi team secured a 3-2 victory against Nepal on Sunday.
The team Bangladesh scored two goals in the first half of the game, one in the 13th minute and the next in the 36th minute.

In the second half, both teams lost a player each as Nepali defender Simran Rai and Bangladeshi player Sagorika punched each other, resulting in red cards for both players.
After a short time of the scuffle, Nepal's Anisha Rai scored a goal in a penalty shootout.
Likewise, Nepal added another goal in the last five minutes of the second half, leveling the score at 2-2.
However, Bangladesh scored one more goal in extra time, leading to a final score of 3-2. Trishnarani Sarkar contributed the third goal for the team Bangladesh.
With this victory, Bangladesh has achieved two consecutive wins.
Earlier, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka with a wide margin of 9-1. For Nepal, this marks the first defeat in the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship, after previously defeating Bhutan 6-1 on Saturday.
