Nepal announces squad for T20 series against West Indies

Mohammad Adil Alam and Sundeep Jora have made their return to the national side. Both players had impressed in the recently concluded series between Nepal ‘A’ and Assam State in Guwahati, India.

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming T20 series against the West Indies, named the Unity Cup, to be held in the UAE.



Mohammad Adil Alam and Sundeep Jora have made their return to the national side. Both players had impressed in the recently concluded series between Nepal ‘A’ and Assam State in Guwahati, India.

This marks Nepal’s first-ever bilateral series against a Test-playing nation. The matches are scheduled for September 27, 29 and 30.


The Nepali squad includes Rohit Paudel (Captain), Dipendra Singh Airee (Vice-Captain), Aasif Sheikh, Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Kushal Malla, Mohammad Adil Ansari, Aarif Sheikh, Sandeep Jora, Karan KC, Nandan Yadav, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Sompal Kami, Shahab Alam.
