Nepal achieved highest export figures ever this year: PM Oli

He further mentioned that in the year prior to his administration taking office, Nepal’s exports stood at Rs 152.38 billion. Comparing the two figures, he highlighted a growth of 81.80 percent in exports.

KATHMANDU, July 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Nepal recorded the highest-ever export figure in its history this year.



Taking to social media on Thursday, PM Oli stated that the country achieved exports worth Rs 277.03 billion. “This year, we have reached a historic high in exports. We have successfully exported goods worth Rs 277.03 billion,” he wrote.

He further mentioned that in the year prior to his administration taking office, Nepal’s exports stood at Rs 152.38 billion. Comparing the two figures, he highlighted a growth of 81.80 percent in exports.


“In the year before we came to government, exports totaled Rs 152.38 billion. Compared to that, exports have increased by 81.80 percent,” he added.
