NC purchases Rs 130 million property in Sanepa for office expansion

KATHMANDU, June 27: The Nepali Congress (NC) has purchased a three-storey house with 19 aana of land in Sanepa, Lalitpur, for Rs 130 million to expand its central office.



The property, formerly owned by Amirman Amatya, is adjacent to the party’s current office. NC central office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel confirmed that General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, along with Treasurer Umesh Shrestha, have already paid Rs 5 million as an advance.

NC said the full payment will be made using party member contributions. The party currently owns a four-storey building with 42 rooms on six ropanis of land in Sanepa.
