KATHMANDU, AUG 10: The Nepali Congress (NC) Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party, chaired by party leader and Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya, held a meeting in Kathmandu on Saturday and made several decisions.
The meeting decided to table a proposal for a vote of confidence in the Bagmati Provincial Assembly on Tuesday, August 12 (27th of Shrawan), at 4:00 pm. This decision was taken in accordance with Article 168(4) of the Constitution of Nepal and Rule 143(1) of the Provincial Assembly Regulations, 2017. A whip has been issued under Article 12(6) of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Statute, 2017, requiring all party members to be present, not remain neutral, and vote in favor of the confidence motion.

The meeting also formed the Parliamentary Party Working Committee, which includes provincial members Shriram Lamichhane, Suna Pariyar, Meen Krishna Maharjan, Suraj Chandra Lamichhane, along with Bagmati Province Committee General Secretaries Raju Shrestha and Kanchan Chandra Bade.
Similarly, a three-member Disciplinary Committee was formed, comprising Chhiring Dorje Lama, Binu Rayamajhi Poudel, and Suraj Chandra Lamichhane.
