SURANGA (JHAPA), Oct 23: A person has died in a road accident at Kankai Municipality-9 Laxmipur on the East-West Highway on Saturday. The motorcyclist was killed when a truck (P1-01-001KH 3520) coming from the east hit a motorcycle (Me 5 Pa 8472) coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased has been identified as Nischal Khanal, 27, of Arjundhara Municipality-3, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rakesh Thapa, the injured Khanal died on the way to B&C Hospital located in Birtamode.
