KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast generally cloudy skies across the country this afternoon, with moderate rain possible in several areas. Showers are expected in parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces; at a few locations in Lumbini and other hilly regions; and at isolated spots in the remaining Terai areas.

The MFD has also warned of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
By nightfall, skies will remain mostly overcast in the hills and mainly clear elsewhere. Moderate rain is likely in parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with light showers possible in a few Terai locations, the division added.
