Calling it a serious matter, the board said legal proceedings have been initiated against those responsible for the circulation of fake information, in accordance with the country's cyber laws.

The Board said that only its official website should be trusted for exam-related updates, and urged students, parents, and school officials not to rely on unofficial sources. “We request all students to continue preparing for the exams with patience and commitment,” the statement read.

The Board also called on teachers, principals, and guardians to cooperate in creating a conducive environment for conducting the exams. “NEB sincerely appeals to all stakeholders for coordination and support to ensure the smooth operation of the examinations,” the statement read.
