KATHMANDU, May 5: The CPN (Maoist Center) has announced that it will launch the Mid-Hill Highway Campaign starting on May 16.
This announcement comes less than a week after the conclusion of the party’s “Maoist with People: Tarai-Madhes Awakening Campaign” which focused on the Postal Highway and began in Jhapa.

A meeting of senior officials held at Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s residence in Khumaltar has instructed the party leadership to begin preparations for the upcoming Mid-Hill Highway Campaign.
The meeting concluded that the recently completed “Maoist with People: Tarai-Madhes Awakening Campaign”, focused on the Postal Highway, was a success. The party stated that the campaign helped strengthen national unity and expressed gratitude to all who supported it.
The Maoist Center also noted that discussions were held during the meeting regarding future plans and organizational matters.
