SURKHET, July 27: A man has killed his wife in Birendranagar Municipality-13, Sugar Khola, Surkhet.
According to the District Police Office Surkhet, Dan Singh Thada Magar, 42, struck his wife, Rabina Thada Magar, 41, on the head with a wooden plank while she was asleep around 1:00 am on Sunday.

Rabina died on the spot. Locals informed the temporary police post at Kaharekhola around 2:30 am. A police team immediately reached the scene, took Dan Singh into custody, and brought him to the District Police Office for further investigation.
