Lumbini Buddhist University senate meeting: Budget of over Rs 490 million passed

The meeting led by the Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University KP Sharma Oli at his official residence at Baluwatar approved the budget. The budget was presented by University's Registrar Dr Tilakram Acharya.

KATHMANDU, July 16: The 18th senate meeting of the Lumbini Buddhist University today has approved the proposed budget of over Rs 490 million.



The meeting led by the Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University KP Sharma Oli at his official residence at Baluwatar approved the budget. The budget was presented by University's Registrar Dr Tilakram Acharya.

During the meeting, Registrar Acharya apprised the meeting that the University's arrears stood at 0.5 per cent as of the end of the current fiscal year 2024/25.


The senate meeting of all universities and health institutions are being summoned in a short notice after the instruction of Chancellor Oli to get their proposed budget and annual programs endorsed before the new fiscal year that begins from tomorrow.
