KATHMANDU, April 28: The House of Representatives has unanimously passed the ‘Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2081’.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, presented the bill during Sunday’s meeting. Responding to lawmakers' concerns, Minister Chaurasiya said the bill aims to correct technical and procedural errors in existing laws. A total of 89 acts will be amended, and two acts will be repealed under the bill.
Govt recommends president to issue five ordinances

The minister expressed confidence that the implementation of the revised laws will help make development work more effective.
Lawmakers Purna Bahadur Gharti Magar and Prem Suwal had called on the government to ensure smoother implementation of the provisions.
The next meeting of the House is scheduled for 3 pm on May 2.
