KANCHANPUR, Sept 16: The Mahakali Highway has been blocked due to a landslide triggered by continuous rainfall. The landslide occurred early Tuesday morning at Sajadhar in Dogadakedar-5, according to local resident Sher Singh Karki.
“A massive landslide fell from the hillside after the rain. Traffic is completely halted,” Karki said. The blockage has cut off road connections to Mahendranagar, Dhangadhi, Kathmandu and the district headquarters, leaving passengers stranded along the route.
