Lalitpur metropolis unveils Rs 7.47 billion budget for FY 2025/2026

Patan, June 25: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has unveiled a budget of Rs 7.47 billion for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26. 



Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya Bajracharya tabled the estimates of income and expenditure for the new FY year in the municipal assembly on Tuesday.

Of the total budget, Rs 2.96 billion has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 4.50 billion for capital expenditure. The LMC has targeted to collect Rs 3.71 billion from internal revenue.


The budget has given priority to areas such as good governance, heritage and cultural conservation, sustainable infrastructure, promotion of greenery, environment, self-reliant economy, quality education, clean drinking water for every household, social development, health and youth employment.
