KMC cancels registration of two Chabahil-based cooperatives

KATHMANDU, July 7: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has canceled the registration  of two cooperative organizations based in Chabahil of the city.

KATHMANDU, July 7: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has canceled the registration  of two cooperative organizations based in Chabahil of the city.



According to the Cooperative Department of the metropolis, the registrations of Jestha Nagarik Swasthya Sewa Sahakari of Kathmandu-5, Chabahil, and Sukas Savings and Credit Co-operative Limited, Chabahil, have been revoked.

"If there are any arrears with the obligations to be paid, liabilities and loans to be raised by the said institution, or if any individual has borrowed from or saved in these institutions, they are requested to contact this department within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice," KMC said in the notice published on Friday, while adding that it will not be responsible for any claims raised thereafter.
