Kathmandu Veg Fest promotes plant-based lifestyle (Photo Feature)

KATHMANDU, July 28: Kathmandu Veg Fest, organized by Sneha’s Care, concluded at Utpala Restaurant in Bauddha. Lalitpur Metropolitan Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan inaugurated the event and announced that the next edition will be held in Lalitpur.



The fifth edition of the fest aimed to promote plant-based food and lifestyle. Sneha Shrestha, founder of Sneha’s Care, said the event encourages people to adopt a vegan lifestyle to protect animals and promote health.

Over 90 stalls were set up featuring vegan food, sustainable products, organic goods and awareness activities. Sneha’s Care also awarded schools and individuals for their contributions to animal welfare.


Established in 2015, Sneha’s Care has been working in animal rescue, treatment, sterilization, and awareness programs across Nepal.
