Kathmandu metropolis sets budget ceiling at Rs 25 billion for FY 2025/26

The meeting emphasized increasing allocations for infrastructure development in line with public expectations. Compared to the current fiscal year, the upcoming budget will see a rise in infrastructure spending.

KATHMANDU, July 11: The Revenue Advisory Committee of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has set a budget ceiling of around Rs 25 billion for the fiscal year 2025/26. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Mayor Balen Shah at the metropolis office in Kathmandu Plaza.



The meeting emphasized increasing allocations for infrastructure development in line with public expectations. Compared to the current fiscal year, the upcoming budget will see a rise in infrastructure spending.
