KATHMANDU, May 13: The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP-N), led by Upendra Yadav, has officially withdrawn its support from the government.
On Monday, JSP-N Chairman Yadav submitted a letter to Speaker Devraj Ghimire stating that the party's support for the government, led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has been retracted.

The letter also declared that the JSP-N will now function as an opposition party.
