KATHMANDU, May 27: Student and youth wings of opposition parties jointly staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala on Tuesday, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister KP Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
Organizations including All Nepal National Free Students Union (Revolutionary), All Nepal National Free Students Union (Socialist), ANNFSU, Youth Association Nepal, Young Communist League (YCL), and Nepal Youth Organization chanted anti-government slogans during the demonstration. They accused the government of making decisions that benefit organized trafficking networks involved in sending Nepali youths abroad on visit visas in collusion with human traffickers.
