Human traffickers in Nepal reroute their operations to Delhi and Dubai after TIA tightens security

This came to light after 47 Nepali nationals, who were about to be flown abroad on visit visas from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi, were rescued and brought back to Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, July 28: Following stricter security checks and vigilance at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, human traffickers in Nepal have been found to have rerouted their operations to New Delhi, India, and Dubai in the UAE.
