KATHMANDU, June 3: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been postponed until Wednesday due to continued obstruction by major opposition parties demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
Tuesday’s meeting, which was rescheduled twice, was ultimately postponed without being held. Initially set for 11 am, the meeting was pushed to 2 pm, but it could not proceed due to a lack of consensus among parties.
HoR meeting postponed until 1 pm on Thursday

Opposition parties including the CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and CPN (Unified Socialist) have been obstructing the session, accusing Home Minister Lekhak of involvement in the ‘visit visa scandal’ and demanding his resignation.
As the meeting could not be conducted, the Parliament Secretariat issued a notice announcing that the session will now be held at 1 pm on Wednesday.
