KATHMANDU, June 3: The House of Representatives (HoR) postponed today’s meeting again. CPN (Unified Socialist) lawmaker Rajendra Pandey said that the Parliament Secretariat issued a second notice, rescheduling the meeting for 4 pm.
The meeting was originally set for 11 am, but the lack of consensus among political parties pushed it to 2 am. When opposition parties refused to end their obstruction by 2 pm, the Secretariat postponed it again to 4 pm.
NC continues protest, next HoR meeting scheduled for May 14

Opposition parties-CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party, and CPN (Unified Socialist) have continued to disrupt the House, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over his alleged involvement in the visit visa scandal.
Pandey said the opposition has demanded the formation of a high-level investigation committee, but the ruling parties have refused to agree.
