KATHMANDU, May 2: The government will establish a fund to provide immediate relief to small depositors of troubled cooperatives.
President Ramchandra Paudel announced this provision on Friday while presenting the government’s policy and program for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY).

President Ramchandra Paudel announced that the Cooperative Regulatory Authority will establish a fund to provide immediate relief to small depositors of troubled cooperatives.
The government will also review the existing cooperative policy, introduce a new national policy, and resolve problems in the cooperative sector through the National Cooperative Regulatory Authority.
